Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Evidentum service ("Service"), operated by NETECT INTELLIGENCE CORP. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Evidentum provides an Anchored Transparency Log (ATL) service -- a privacy-preserving, verifiable, append-only log that creates cryptographically verifiable receipts proving that specific data existed at a specific time. These proofs are derived from external, independent timestamping authorities -- not from us. Each receipt is fully self-contained and can be verified independently, even if our servers cease to exist. When you have two or more receipts, you can cryptographically prove offline that the log history between them has not been modified. The Service is provided on a pay-as-you-go basis via API access.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and for all activities under your account.

4. Pricing and Payment

The Service is priced at $0.10 USD per API request. Payment is prepaid; you must maintain a positive balance to use the Service. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are subject to change at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures
  • Interfere with the Service's operation
  • Share API keys with unauthorized parties
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by NETECT INTELLIGENCE CORP. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your data remains your property; we claim no ownership over content you submit.

7. Data and Privacy

Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

8. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NETECT INTELLIGENCE CORP. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 1 month preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NETECT INTELLIGENCE CORP. from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York.
